BRIEFING SESSION AND LOT DRAW FOR TAMAN TEMARA HAWKER SITE

7 MAY 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) conducted a briefing session and lot draw for the Taman Temara hawker site at the Kg Cempaka Sari Community Hall from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon. 

Also present were MBI Councillors Clr. Basri Mohamad Nor and Clr. Ahmad Fariq Walit Ahmad Fuad, as well as Tebing Tinggi Assemblyman’s Political Secretary Muhamad Izuan Aziz. 

A total of 29 traders who attended were given detailed explanations on Licensing Requirements by Licensing Assistant Director Ahmad Basir Nor Azli; Hawker Site Management by Public Health and Municipal Services Department Health Officer Noraini Abu Bakar; Hawker Site Construction Works by Public Works Department Assistant Engineer Raizalaffendi Abdul Rashid; and Operations to Demolish Unapproved Building Structures by Development Control Department Chief Building Officer Sharifah Musa. 

The lot draw process for the traders involved went smoothly and the Council hopes that the new hawker site to be provided at Taman Temara will be fully utilised by the traders.
