COURTESY VISIT BY MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE OF INTEGRITY (IIM) DELEGATION ON IPOH MAYOR
26 MAY 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah received a courtesy visit from the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM) Delegation led by its Chief Executive Officer Rahman Mohd Din this afternoon.
The courtesy visit also discussed proposals regarding the National Integrity Month Celebration 2025 to be held in Ipoh in November. In addition, the meeting provided an opportunity for IIM to introduce their latest products, such as the Integrity and Governance Management System (SPINE), Integrity Enforcement Module (MIP), and Community Integrity Development (CIB) in the effort to assist MBI empower and cultivate integrity values not only among MBI officers and staff, but also targeting community involvement in raising public awareness on good governance.
At the same time, the Ipoh Mayor welcomes any efforts led by the IIM and hopes that both parties can collaborate to mobilise energy and efforts to enhance good governance practices.
MBI is always serious and will not compromise on any issues of misconduct, abuse of power and corruption that are often associated with the ethics of civil servants, especially in MBI.
Also present were department heads from MBI and IIM.
May this courtesy visit further strengthen relationships and help enhance the image and integrity of MBI.
