COURTESY VISIT BY PERAK CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (PCCCI) ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 4 JULY 2025 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) today received a courtesy visit from the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) delegation led by its President Dato' Liew Chee Ming. The visit took place at the Mayor's Office, MBI Building, and was warmly welcomed by Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen strategic relations between MBI and the Chinese business community in Perak, particularly in boosting local economic development in the city of Ipoh.

During the meeting, the PCCCI delegation shared their views and several constructive proposals aimed at enhancing the investment climate, facilitating business transactions, and supporting the implementation of investor-friendly sustainable development initiatives.

In his speech, the Ipoh Mayor welcomed the initiatives and commitments expressed by PCCCI. He also emphasised MBI's readiness to continue close collaboration with various industrial sectors to empower the local economy and improve the well-being of Ipoh city residents.
