COURTESY VISIT BY PERAK SOCSO DIRECTOR ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 27 APRIL 2026 – Perak Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) Director Anthony Arul Dass a/l Arulappen paid a courtesy visit on Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) Building.   

The courtesy visit aimed to strengthen strategic cooperation between Perak SOCSO and the Ipoh City Council, particularly in efforts to strengthen social security protection for workers and the local community. 

During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on various initiatives that could potentially be implemented jointly, including aspects of worker welfare, social protection, awareness of SOCSO contributions and social responsibility programmes that could benefit the people of Ipoh City. 

Zamakhshari Hanipah expressed his appreciation for the visit and welcomed Perak SOCSO’s efforts in broadening public understanding of the importance of social security protection. 

He also reaffirmed MBI’s commitment to continue fostering close cooperation with various agencies for the wellbeing of city residents. 

It is hoped that this courtesy visit can serve as the basis for the implementation of more comprehensive cooperation between Perak SOCSO and MBI in the future.
