FOUR STUDENTS SELECTED TO JOIN THE 2025 BRIDGE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM

25 January 2025-A total of four students in Ipoh City have been selected to participate in the 2025 Bridge Summer Camp Program which will be held in Fukuoka City, Japan this July.

The program, which was introduced since 2001, is managed by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) in collaboration with the Perak State Education Department (JPNP), as an initiative to connect and unite the cultures and ideologies of the participants who participated from 40 countries in the Asia Pacific region.

The selected students are 11 years old from primary schools around Ipoh City.

All of those involved are likened to little ambassadors representing their respective cities for the purpose of strengthening friendship among the participating countries.

Earlier, all successful participants were invited by MBI to participate in an experience sharing session with former participants of the previous Bridge Summer Camp Program which was held at the Jalan Bandar Lecture Hall in Ipoh.

Also present at the program were Mr. Romzi bin Zamri, City Community Director and Mr. Wan Mohd. Hazihan Bin Wan Husain, JPNP Representative.
