KPKT ALLOCATES RM168.7 MILLION FOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS IN PRIME MINISTER'S PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY

Under the KPKT development projects allocation for 2024, a total of 107 projects involving an allocation of RM168.7 million have been implemented in the Tambun Parliamentary Constituency.

The Tambun constituency has received 55 projects under the Local Government Department worth RM17.02 million. 

In the housing sector, KPKT remains committed to providing affordable housing for the people of Tambun with an allocation of RM149.21 million for the Tambun People's Residency Programme (PRR) and RM567,948.50 for seven Rumah Mesra Rakyat (RMR) projects under Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).

For the Tambun constituency, KPKT through the Community Wellbeing Division and Chinese New Village Division, has implemented 34 projects to repair and build new houses amounting to RM734,640.00. Moreover, KPKT has also upgraded public infrastructure in the Chinese New Village areas with an allocation of RM1.71 million, including 10 projects on road resurfacing and upgrading recreational parks.

Also present were State Tourism, Industry, Investment & Corridor Development Committee Chairman Loh Sze Yee, KPKT Deputy Secretary-General (Sustainability and Strategic Planning) Datuk Saidatu Akhma Hassan, Local Government Department Director-General Dato Mohd Fádzli Mohd Kenali, Ipoh Mayor Dato' Rumaizi Baharin @ Md. Daud, Perak State Assemblymen, KPKT top management, MBI councillors and heads of federal and state departments.
