MAYOR OF IPOH ATTENDS SESSION ON PLAYER INTRODUCTION AND OFFICIAL JERSEY LAUNCH OF PERAK BISON

IPOH, 4 OCTOBER 2026 – As a show of support for the Sepak Takraw team representing Perak, i.e., Perak Bison, Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah attended the Player Introduction and Official Jersey Launch Ceremony of Perak Bison today.  

The launch ceremony was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad.  

Also present at the programme was Dato’ Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan, President of Perak Darul Ridzuan Sepak Takraw Association (Persedar).  

This event was organised as the Perak Bison team’s preparation for the Sepak Takraw League (STL) 2026 competition.  

For the record, last year, Perak Bison emerged as champions of STL 2025 after displaying consistent performance in all six Grand Prix rounds, collecting 136 points to finish ahead of Kuala Lumpur Thunders with 130 points and Melaka Titans with 128 points
