MBI RECEIVES VISIT FROM UNIVERSITI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA (UKM) ALUMNI JELAJAH KASIH

IPOH, 8 OCTOBER 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) today received a courtesy visit from the delegation of the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Alumni Jelajah Kasih Programme 2026.

The delegation’s arrival was welcomed by Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah and MBI Management Services Director Ahmad Zaiyadi Sudin.

The UKM alumni, travelling on high-powered motorcycles, were led by Prof. Sr. Ts. Dr. Adi Irfan Che Ani, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Generation and Infrastructure) and Executive Director of UKM Income Generation Management Centre, together with officers, staff and members of the UKM Bikers Club.

Also participating in the visit were University Cadet Centre Director Lt. Col. Assoc. Prof. Mohd Jasmy Abd Rahman and UKM Alumni Relations Centre Deputy Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sofwan Mahmud.

The programme provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between UKM and MBI, besides exchanging views and sharing information regarding alumni initiatives and potential collaborations that benefit the community.
