PERAK MENTERI BESAR COMPLETES STRUCTURE OF PCAH BUILDING

IPOH, 30 AUGUST 2026 – Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad today officiated the Structure Completion Ceremony of the Perak Chinese Assembly Hall (PCAH) Building. 

The Perak Menteri Besar’s arrival was welcomed by Perak Chinese Assembly Hall President Datuk Kwan Foh Kwai, before walking about 200 metres through the Pasar Karat area while distributing Jalur Gemilang flags to the public. 

Upon reaching the Jalan Teh Hawa junction, he then rode in a trishaw to the ceremony site as part of the programme activities, which also ignited the spirit of patriotism in conjunction with the National Month Celebration. 

The highlight of the programme saw Dato’ Seri Saarani, together with the guests of honour and contributors officiate the symbolic completion of the PCAH Building structure at the top floor of the building. 

The ceremony was carried out by pouring cement into the designated space on the rooftop as a symbolic gesture marking another important milestone in the construction of the PCAH Building. 

The Menteri Besar and guests then inspected the progress and construction works of the PCAH Building. 

Also present at the event was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, together with Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, State Domestic Trade, Consumer Affairs and New Villages Committee Chairman Woo Kah Leong, as well as leaders and members of the Perak Chinese Assembly Hall (PCAH). 

The construction of the PCAH Building is an important initiative to provide better facilities and space to support the organisation’s activities and strengthen PCAH’s role in the development of the community and society in Perak
