PERAK MENTERI BESAR OFFICIATES PERAK INNOVATION CONVENTION 2026

IPOH, 7 OCTOBER 2026 – For the first time, Perak is hosting the Perak Innovation Convention 2026, held at Stadium Indera Mulia in Ipoh, Perak.

The Innovation Convention’s opening ceremony today was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad.

Also present at the event were State Secretary Dato’ Ahmad Suaidi Abdul Rahim, State Legal Adviser Dato’ Azmir Shah Zainal Abidin, State Financial Officer Dato’ Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, State Science, Environment and Green Technology Committee Chairman Teh Kok Lim and Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah Ipoh.

The programme served as a platform to showcase various innovations, technologies and creative ideas through the participation of 60 exhibitors from various sectors, such as the public service, educational institutions, industry and the community.

The two-day convention, which began on 6 October 2026, brought together a wide range of exhibitions showcasing innovations in various fields, including public services, education, healthcare, security, robotics, agriculture, the environment, tourism, sports, food, public wellbeing and digitalisation, alongside technology and robotics demonstrations for visitors.
