PERAK STATE GOVERNMENT MEET THE CLIENTS DAY MESRA PROGRAMME LIVELY AT STADIUM INDERA MULIA

IPOH, 21 JULY 2025 – Stadium Indera Mulia became the focal point for Perakians today as thousands attended the Perak State Government Meet The Clients Day MESRA Programme, held with the spirit of openness and service to the people.

The programme, organised by the Perak State Government, was officiated by the Perak Menteri Besar, and attended by State Exco Members as well as senior officers of state departments and agencies.

Also present to show his commitment to the people’s aspirations was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, who personally went down to the ground to inspect and engage with the city residents. He took the opportunity to listen directly to the issues and suggestions from the residents and provided direct feedback to them.

According to Mr. Zamakhshari, such a people-friendly approach was very significant in efforts to strengthen the relationship between local authorities and urban communities.

"Programmes like this demonstrate that the state government and local authorities are always opening channels for two-way communication. They serve as the best platform for us to examine local issues and provide more holistic solutions to city residents," he elaborated when met after an engagement session with visitors.

During the event, Ipoh City Council also received complaints, feedback and suggestions, such as complaints about misuse of premises, damaged roads, proposals for road hump applications, and a new drainage system in the Ipoh City Council administrative area.

The programme was further enlivened with exhibitions of government department and agency services, dialogue sessions with leaders, complaint counters, health screenings and various family-friendly community activities.

This Meet The Clients Day initiative is viewed as one of the Perak State Government’s proactive approaches to strengthen a culture of integrity, transparency, and more efficient and inclusive public service delivery for the people.
