PERAK STATE-LEVEL MAULIDUR RASUL CELEBRATION 2026

IPOH, 25 AUGUST 2026 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah graced the Perak State-Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration 2026 at the Casuarina Convention Centre, Hotel Casuarina@Meru, Ipoh.

Accompanying His Royal Highness was HRH Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim. 

HH Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Jaafar Raja Muda Musa and HH Raja Di Hilir of Perak, Raja Iskandar Dzulkarnain Sultan Idris Shah were also in attendance. 

Also present were the Perak Menteri Besar, State Government leadership, heads of departments and agencies, as well as invited guests.

Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah also attended the event as a sign of Ipoh City Council’s (MBI) support for the organising of religious programmes that play a role in enlivening the teachings of Islam and strengthening appreciation of the life and noble character of Rasulullah SAW. 

The event, held in conjunction with 12 Rabiulawal 1448H, was filled with various spiritual activities, including the recitation of Asma’ Al-Husna, recitation of holy verses of the Al-Quran with translation, collective selawat, as well as the Royal Address. 

The event also saw the presentation of awards to recipients in several categories as recognition of their contributions and roles in the development and promotion of Islamic teachings in Perak. 

The organisation of the Maulidur Rasul celebration serves as an important platform for strengthening love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW, besides instilling noble values, unity and harmony among the community.
