SEVEN COUPLES INVOLVE IN NIKAH JAMAIE SYARIE CEREMONY ORGANISED BY MBI, MASJID MUHIBBUDDIN SHAH & PERKIP
25 MAY 2025 - Ipoh City Council (MBI) in collaboration with Masjid Muhibbuddin Shah, Ipoh, and MBI Islamic Welfare Association (PERKIP) organised a Nikah Jamaie Syarie Ceremony this morning.
The programme, held in conjunction with the Ipoh City 37th Anniversary Celebration, involved the participation of seven couples comprising Perak-born individuals.
The marriage ceremony for the couples took place at Masjid Muhibbuddin Shah, while the reception banquet was held at the Ipoh Convention Centre.
The Nikah Jamaie Syarie Ceremony was officiated by MBI Chief WHIP Dato’ Mazlan Abd Rahman.
Also present at the event were Council Members, Senior Directors, MBI Department Heads and Committee Members of Masjid Muhibbuddin Shah.
One of the objectives of organising this event was to help facilitate the marriage process among young couples in Ipoh city, encourage young people with financial constraints to start a family, foster community bonds, and make MBI an organisation that is always sensitive and caring towards humanity and community welfare in this city.
Nearly 1,000 people were present to enliven the event, consisting of families of the brides and grooms.
