TRIBUTE AND FAREWELL CEREMONY IN APPRECIATION OF CITY SECRETARY

IPOH, 2 OCTOBER 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) organised a Tribute and Farewell Ceremony in conjunction with the retirement of City Secretary A’zman Mohd Harun, after 36 years of service.  

The event at the Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC) was also attended by Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah.  

Also present to enliven the occasion were Clr. Dato' Mazlan Abd. Rahman, MBI Chief Whip Clr. Wong Kar Keat, Councillors, as well as MBI Heads of Departments and Units.  

The programme was organised as a gesture of appreciation for all his services, commitment and contributions throughout his tenure. The celebration was enlivened with a video montage of memorable moments, singing performances, presentation of souvenirs and a photo session with MBI staff.  

The entire MBI workforce extends its best wishes for a happy retirement and expresses appreciation to A’zman for all the contributions and dedicated service he has rendered throughout his tenure at MBI.
