VISIT BY KUALA LUMPUR CITY HALL DELEGATION TO IPOH CITY COUNCIL STRENGTHENS STRATEGIC RELATIONS BETWEEN LOCAL AUTHORITIES

IPOH, 18 AUGUST 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) received a benchmarking visit from a Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) delegation in an official visit held in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere. 

The 13-member delegation, led by Senior Deputy Director (DBKL Civil Engineering and Drainage Department) Ir. Rusnida Talib, was warmly welcomed by MBI Corporate Affairs Senior Assistant Director Faridah Abdul Aziz and MBI Public Works (Development) Assistant Director Shariza Idris. Also present was a delegation from Koridor Utiliti Darul Ridzuan (KUDR), led by KUDR Senior Manager Hasnita Amindollah. 

The visit aimed to share knowledge and ideas regarding utility excavation work management procedures and governance aspects implemented by MBI together with KUDR. The delegation was also taken on a visit to the MBI Radio and TV Studio to observe firsthand the media management carried out by MBI. 

The briefing session at Dewan Azlan Shah MBI was delivered by MBI Public Works (Development) Assistant Director Shariza Idris, together with KUDR Senior Manager Hasnita Amindollah.

The programme concluded with a group photo session and an exchange of souvenirs between both parties, symbolising their close and ongoing collaborative relationship.
