ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE BAN ON PROVISION AND USE OF SINGLE-USE PLASTIC BAGS THROUGHOUT PERAK



Kerajaan Negeri Perak telah menetapkan larangan pemberian dan penggunaan beg plastik jinjit sekali guna di seluruh Negeri Perak berkuat kuasa mulai 1 September 2026.

🚫 All affected permanent premises are prohibited from providing and using single-use plastic bags for customers. 

Among the permanent premises involved are:

  1. Hypermarkets
  2. Supermarkets
  3. Departmental stores
  4. Convenience stores
  5. Fast-food restaurants
  6. Petrol station convenience stores
  7. Chain stores
  8. Pharmacies

Other related premises will be announced from time to time. 

Let us practice a more sustainable lifestyle by reducing the use of single-use plastics for the sake of environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of future generations.
