The two tree trunks on the left and right symbolize the Ipoh tree, the origin of the name of the City of Ipoh.
The wavy yellow track at the bottom of the logo depicts the limestone hills that are abundant in the Ipoh area
The moon is the symbol of Islam as the official religion
The three vertical stripes at the bottom (center) are the symbol of the Perak Darul Ridzuan State Flag.
The two tigers on the left and right are according to the emblem of the Federal Coat of Arms.
The wavy fort at the top (center) symbolizes Kota Dato Laksamana who is believed to be the first person to build a village in Ipoh.
The blue wavy horizontal strip as a symbol of the Kinta River that separates the Old Town and the New Town of Ipoh.
