28 CHILDREN OF MBI MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN THE MASS CIRCUMCISION PROGRAM
19 January 2025 - A total of 28 children of Ipoh City Council (MBI) members participated in the Mass Circumcision Program this morning.
The ceremony, which took place at the MBI building, was organized by the MBI Islamic Welfare Association (PERKIP) in collaboration with MBI.
The annual program held in conjunction with this school holiday, aims to help the children of MBI members who are less able to finance the cost of circumcision in addition to strengthening the bonds of ukhuwah.
Earlier the opening ceremony of the program was completed by Clr. Azmy bin Mohamed Nazir, MBI Council Member, represented the Mayor of Ipoh.
Also present at the program was Mr. Ahmad Marzuki Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of PERKIP MBI.
All the children involved in this event also received donations such as cash, and gifts in the form of hampers.
