COURTESY VISIT BY SUNWAY GROUP DELEGATION ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 5 JUNE 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah received a courtesy visit from the Sunway Group delegation this afternoon at the Mayor's Office, Ipoh City Council (MBI).

The delegation was led by Sunway City Ipoh Executive Director Wong Wan Wooi and accompanied by Sunway Theme Park Senior General Manager Nurul Nuzairi, The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat General Manager Mark, Sunway Medical Centre Chief Executive Officer Choy, as well as Department Heads of MBI. 

The visit aimed to strengthen the strategic relationship between Sunway Group and MBI in various aspects of urban development. During the meeting, both parties engaged in constructive discussions covering potential collaboration in property development, urban sustainability initiatives, investments, and green projects that can empower the future growth of Ipoh City.

MBI welcomes such initiatives as they not only strengthen bilateral relations but also have the potential to act as a catalyst for economic development and improve the well-being of city residents.

May this visit be the beginning of closer and continuous collaboration for the sustainability and advancement of Ipoh City.
