COURTESY VISIT BY UNIVERSITI MALAYA DELEGATION ON MAYOR OF IPOH

4 JUNE 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah received a courtesy visit from the Universiti Malaya delegation, led by its Alumni Relations Centre Director Nor Hafizah Abdullah this morning at the Ipoh City Council.

During the visit, the Mayor also held discussions with Universiti Malaya representatives to explore new collaboration opportunities that have the potential to contribute to the progress and well-being of Ipoh city residents.

Also present at the meeting were department heads of MBI and representatives from Universiti Malaya.

Hopefully, this visit will serve as a catalyst for closer collaboration between higher education institutions and local authorities towards inclusive, competitive and resilient urban development.
