DINNER RECEPTION IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE MEETING OF PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONS OF MALAYSIA

IPOH, 13 JULY 2026 – The Perak State Government hosted a Dinner Reception in conjunction with the Meeting of Public Service Commissions of Malaysia 2026 at Convention Centre Hall 3 (CCC3), Hotel Casuarina@Meru in Ipoh tonight. 

The event was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, and enlivened by the presence of the State Government leadership, representatives of the Public Service Commissions and distinguished guests from across the country. 

Also present was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, as a sign of Ipoh City Council’s support for efforts to strengthen collaborative networks among the state government, local authorities and public service institutions. 

At the event, the Perak Menteri Besar delivered a speech and launch the Records Disposal Schedule and the Perak Public Service Commission File Classification e-Book. 

The launch of these two initiatives represents an important step in streamlining record governance and file management so that they can be carried out more systematically, efficiently and transparently, and in line with the digitalisation of the public service. 

These initiatives are also expected to ensure that the processes of record keeping, classification, preservation and disposal are carried out in an orderly manner based on established regulations, guidelines and procedures. 

The dinner reception provided an opportunity for delegates and officers from the Public Service Commissions to foster closer ties, exchange views and strengthen strategic cooperation in efforts to improve governance efficiency and the quality of service delivery to the people. 

The event took place in an atmosphere filled with warmth and harmony, reflecting the spirit of togetherness and the commitment of all parties to strengthening a public service that is professional, with integrity and responsive to the needs of the community.
