IPOH CITY COUNCIL EXCELLENT SERVICE AWARD 2024 CEREMONY

MAY 15, 2025 - A total of 176 Ipoh City Council (MBI) staff, comprising 121 men and 55 women, received the Excellent Service Award, while another 60 staff received the Competency Award in conjunction with the MBI Excellent Service Award (APC) 2024 ceremony at the Casuarina Convention Centre in Ipoh this afternoon.

The award presentation ceremony was officiated by State Housing and Local Government Committee Chairman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching.

Also present at the event were City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, representing the Ipoh Mayor, Dato’ Mazlan Abd. Rahman, MBI Chief WHIP Wong Kar Keat, Councillors, Senior Directors and Department Heads of MBI.

The APC recipients each received an incentive of RM1,000 in the form of a Bank Simpanan Nasional Premium Savings Certificate, a certificate of appreciation and a souvenir, while the Competency Award recipients each received a RM400 Bank Simpanan National Premium Savings Certificate and a certificate of appreciation.

MBI would like to extend its congratulations and well done to the recipients of the Excellent Service Award and Competency Award 2024.

May the year 2025 be a turning point for MBI staff to continue their excellence in providing the best services to the people of Ipoh.
