KAMPAR DISTRICT COUNCIL BENCHMARKING VISIT TO IPOH CITY COUNCIL TO LEARN MYPEROLEHAN SYSTEM
JUNE 19, 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) received a delegation from the Kampar District Council (MDK) for a benchmarking visit session regarding the implementation and use of the MyPerolehan System.
The visit was led by Kampar District Council Administrative Officer (Engineer) Rozzilla Mohamad Som. This visit was held following the Kampar District Council's aspiration to improve its internal procurement management system by personally observing the procedures, operations and effectiveness of the MyPerolehan System implemented at Ipoh City Council.
The main objective of the visit was to learn the workflow and main modules of the MyPerolehan System, obtain practical guidance on the optimal use of the system and exchange views and experiences in addressing technical challenges faced in electronic procurement management.
The briefing session was delivered by Management Services (Information Technology) Principal Assistant Director Abdul Rasef Abdul Rani and MBI Quantity Surveying and Procurement Unit Assistant Head Mohd Shahrin Nordin.
The sharing and discussion session provided an opportunity for both parties to share best practices and suggestions for improvements towards strengthening digital procurement management.
Hopefully this visit can strengthen cooperation relationship between the Kampar District Council and Ipoh City Council and become a platform for sharing knowledge and experience in empowering the digitalisation agenda of public services.
