MBI LEVEL MAULIDUR RASUL CELEBRATION 2026 FOSTERS LOVE FOR RASULULLAH SAW

IPOH, 28 AUGUST 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) today held the MBI Level Maulidur Rasul Celebration 2026/144H at the Operations Room, Level 2, MBI Building. 

The event was attended by City Secretary A’zman Mohd Harun, representing Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, together with MBI Chief Whip Dato’ Mazlan Abd. Rahman, Councillors, MBI department heads and staff. 

The organising of the Maulidur Rasul celebration was one of MBI’s continuous efforts to foster love for the revered Prophet Muhammad SAW, besides appreciating his life story, struggles and character as a guide in daily life and in carrying out responsibilities as public servants. 

Among the main highlights of the event was a Maulidur Rasul lecture by Ustaz Mohammad Rais Adnan, Lecturer in Usuluddin at Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS), titled “Merdeka Jiwa, Mulia Akhlak: Mencontohi Rasulullah SAW”.

The talk emphasised the importance of cultivating a liberated spirit, noble character and making the attributes and personality of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a model in carrying out responsibilities to religion, organisation and society. 

The event was also enlivened with a nasyid performance by Kumpulan INSIJAM, signifying the spirit of compatibility, harmony and unity in delivering messages through nasyid melodies. 

The performance not only enlivened the event atmosphere, but also served as a medium of dakwah, conveying spiritual messages, love and devotion to the Prophet Muhammad SAW through the arts

In addition, the programme included mass selawat and doa recitation, creating an atmosphere of deep reverence while strengthening bonds of brotherhood and the spirit of togetherness among MBI staff. 

This celebration also served as a platform to reinforce noble values such as trustworthiness, integrity, compassion, mutual respect, discipline and the spirit of togetherness, in line with MBI’s efforts to cultivate staff who are not only competent and professional, but also possess commendable values and character in delivering the best service to the community. 

Through appreciation of the teachings and character of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, MBI staff are hoped to continue improving the quality of service delivery with full responsibility, integrity and oriented on the interests of the people. 

MBI hopes that the organisation of the Maulidur Rasul Celebration will continue to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among its staff and inspire the spirit of emulating the noble attributes of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, thereby shaping an organisation that is more excellent, integrity-driven, harmonious and caring towards the wellbeing of the community.
