OPENING CEREMONY OF SEKOLAH MENENGAH AGAMA RAKYAT ORANG ASLI NURUL HIDAYAH AT KAMPUNG KENANG BARU, JALONG TINGGI, SUNGAI SIPUT (U)

SUNGAI SIPUT, 30 JUNE 2026 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah officiated the Opening Ceremony of Sekolah Menengah Agama Rakyat Orang Asli Nurul Hidayah at Kampung Kenang Baru, Jalong Tinggi, Sungai Siput (U) today. 

His Royal Highness was accompanied by HRH Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim. 

The event, held at Padang Awam, Kampung Kenang Baru, was attended by Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Saarani Mohamad, together with the Perak State Government leadership. Also present was Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah. 

The opening of Sekolah Menengah Agama Rakyat Orang Asli Nurul Hidayah reflects the Perak State Government's ongoing commitment to strengthening the educational development agenda, specifically Islamic education for the Orang Asli community in the state. 

The establishment of the school is expected to serve as an effective educational platform in shaping a generation of Orang Asli who are knowledgeable, morally upright, competitive and capable of contributing to the development of the community and the state.
