OPENING OF NATIONAL INTEGRITY MONTH (SBIN) 2025 CELEBRATION

IPOH, 5 NOVEMBER 2025 – HRH Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah today officiated the National Integrity Month (SBIN) 2025 Celebration at Dewan Bankuet, Bangunan Perak Darul Ridzuan, Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, Ipoh, Perak.

The National Integrity Month Celebration is the flagship annual programme of the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), which this year carries the theme “Integrity: The Pillar of National Well-Being.” The theme reflects IIM’s commitment to strengthening a culture of integrity, honesty, transparency and accountability at all levels of society as the cornerstone for the development of a prosperous, high-integrity and corruption-free nation.

Also present were Perak Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, Chief Secretary to the Government and IIM Chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and Auditor-General Dato’ Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi.

The event was further enlivened by the presence of Secretaries-General, senior Federal and State Government officers and representatives from local agencies and institutions who jointly supported efforts to strengthen the national integrity ecosystem.

Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah was also present to express support for efforts to strengthen the culture of integrity at the Ipoh City Council (MBI). His presence reflected the local authority’s commitment in instilling the values of integrity and good governance at the local government level.
