THE 10th TOURISM PROMOTION ORGANISATION FOR GLOBAL CITIES (TPO) FORUM IN TAICHUNG, TAIWAN

TAICHUNG, TAIWAN, 16 SEPTEMBER 2026 – City Secretary A’zman Mohd Harun, together with City Public Works Director Ir. Ts. Arif Mohd Zainudin and Senior Assistant Engineer (Roads) Mohd Sukhaile Mustafa attended the Tourism Exchange & Partnership Programme in Taichung, Taiwan.  

City Secretary A’zman Mohd Harun, together with the TPO delegates, attended the 47th Executive Committee Meeting. The meeting served as a platform to create collaboration opportunities and strengthen cooperation among all cities participating in the TPO Forum via the tourism sector.  

Ipoh City Council was also invited to deliver a presentation titled “IPOH Limestone City of Shared Value” at the City Tourism Policy & Partnership Briefing session, which involved various renowned cities, such as Busan, Ho Chi Minh, Gimhae and others. The presentation was delivered by City Public Works Director Ir. Ts. Arif Mohd Zainudin.  

Today’s programme concluded with a special session on Cooperation & Partnership, i.e., a special session to further strengthen the cooperative working network of TPO in developing the tourism sector in the participating cities.
