COURTESY VISIT BY PERAK ELECTION COMMISSION DIRECTOR ON MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 15 JUNE 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) today received a courtesy visit from Perak Election Commission (EC) Director Mohd Nazri Ismail on Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah at the MBI Building. 

The meeting served as a platform to strengthen strategic cooperation between MBI and Perak EC, particularly in the aspects of administrative coordination, information sharing and logistical support related to the implementation of democratic and electoral processes in the Ipoh City administrative area. 

The Ipoh Mayor also expressed his appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed MBI’s commitment to continue providing appropriate cooperation to the Perak EC in accordance with the jurisdiction and role of the local authority. 

This visit also reflects the close relationship between government agencies in ensuring that service delivery to the community can be carried out more effectively, efficiently and professionally.
