HANDOVER SESSION OF 2025 SPECIAL SECURITY PROTECTION AWARD (AKKP) CERTIFICATE

IPOH, 29 JUNE 2026 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah today received the 2025 Special Security Protection Award (AKKP) Certificate from Aminuddin Ramli, Assistant Director of the Malaysia Office of the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) Perak, during a handover session at the Ipoh City Council (MBI) Meeting Hall. 

The Malaysia Office of the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) conducted the Special Security Protection Award Inspectorate at Ipoh City Council on 24 – 25 June 2025. 

Following the assessment, Ipoh City Council achieved a score of 93.65%, placing its security protection standards at the Good level. 

The Ipoh City Council also received a 4-Star Rating in the 2025 Special Security Protection Award. 

This achievement reflects Ipoh City Council's continuous commitment in ensuring that aspects of security protection are always given priority, in line with efforts to strengthen security governance at the organisational level. 

Ipoh City Council extends its appreciation to all parties involved in the successful implementation of this inspectorate, particularly MBI staff who have always provided cooperation and commitment in ensuring the organisation's security standards remain at an exemplary level.
