MAYOR OF IPOH RECEIVES COURTESY VISIT FROM PERAK ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS AND MALAY CUSTOMS COUNCIL

IPOH, 13 OCTOBER 2026 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah received a courtesy visit from the Perak Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPk) today.

The courtesy visit involved Muallim District Territorial Chief Toh Paduka Setia Dato’ Ir. Dr. Safry Kamal Ahmad and Hulu Perak District Territorial Chief Toh Muda Orang Kaya-Kaya Seri Adika Raja Shahbandar Muda Dato’ Ar. LA Meor Roslan Meor Ahmad Rashidi.

The visit served as an important platform for fostering closer ties and strengthening cooperation network between Ipoh City Council and MAIPk.

The meeting also provided space for the exchange of views and information sharing regarding the development of the MAIPk Administrative Complex and Commercial Centre.

It is hoped that this meeting will be a catalyst for closer and continuous cooperation between both parties for their mutual benefit and the overall progress of the state of Perak.
