MAYOR OF IPOH VISITS PUBLICITY & PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROGRAMME VENUE FOR THE DRAFT IPOH CITY LOCAL PLAN 2035 (AMENDMENT 2)

IPOH, 16 OCTOBER 2026 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah today visited the venue for the Publicity & Public Participation Programme for the Draft Ipoh City Local Plan 2035 (Amendment 2), held at the of Ipoh City Council (MBI) Lobby.

The visit was also attended by Councillors, MBI directors and officers to observe the implementation of the programme.

The Publicity & Public Participation Programme for the Draft Ipoh City Local Plan 2035 (Amendment 2) is being held from 15 October to 13 November 2026 at two locations, i.e., the MBI Lobby and the 7th Floor Lobby of Town and Country Planning Department, Perak.

The programme aims to provide the public with an opportunity to review the proposed amendments to the local plan and to submit their views and feedback in support of sustainable development in Ipoh city.

Members of the public are invited to visit the exhibition venues throughout the duration of the programme, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, to obtain further information and share their views towards the development of a better-planned and more prosperous city.
