MBI SACRIFICIAL RITUAL 2025 LIVELY WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOTONG-ROYONG

IPOH, 10 JUNE 2025 – A total of five cows were slaughtered during the Sacrificial Ritual Ceremony organised by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) in collaboration with the MBI Islamic Welfare Association (PERKIP), which was carried out this morning at Taman Dr Seenivasagam, Ipoh.

The programme, which started as early as 8.00 am, was conducted through gotong-royong with the participation of 200 MBI personnel. The event aimed to foster the spirit of togetherness and cultivate noble values among MBI staff.

The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah, MBI Chief WHIP Dato' Mazlan Abd. Rahman, MBI Councillors, City Secretary, Senior Directors, Department Heads and staff of MBI.

The Ipoh Mayor also officiated the Presentation Ceremony of Sacrificial Meat to the personnel on duty and staff of MBI.

Hopefully, the organisation of this Sacrificial Ritual Ceremony will enhance devotion to Allah SWT, foster a spirit of unity and harmony, and strengthen bonds of brotherhood among the MBI workforce.

It also serves as a platform to express gratitude for all the blessings and sustenance granted by Him.
