PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF LETTERS OF ACCEPTANCE (LOAs) TO CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS BY MAYOR OF IPOH

IPOH, 11 JUNE 2025 – Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah officiated the Presentation Ceremony of Letters of Acceptance (LOAs) to 17 participants comprising contractors and suppliers this afternoon.

At the ceremony, he also took the opportunity to engage with the LOA recipients. The programme aimed to appreciate the contractors and suppliers who have succeeded in the Ipoh City Council (MBI) procurement process, while also serving as a reminder that the assigned works must be executed efficiently, according to schedule, and in compliance with the stipulated standards.

The Mayor also advised successful contractors and suppliers not to delegate the work to third parties (subcontractors), but instead carry out the work directly to ensure the quality and effectiveness of project implementation.

The event was also attended by City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak and department heads of MBI.
