TALK TITLED “CIVIL SERVANTS: BETWEEN DUTY, TRUST AND SPIRITUAL REWARD”

IPOH, 1 JULY 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) organised a talk titled "Civil Servants: Between Duty, Trust and Spiritual Reward" at Ballroom 2, Level 4, Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC), as an effort to strengthen the values of integrity, responsibility and trustworthiness among civil servants. 

The talk was delivered by renowned speaker Ustaz Syamsul Debat, who shared spiritual and motivational insights on the role of civil servants in carrying out their duties with complete sincerity, ethics and based on the value of trustworthiness. 

This talk aimed to raise awareness among participants so that every responsibility entrusted can be carried out to the best of their ability, while viewing daily tasks as a form of worship and service to the community. 

The programme was attended by City Secretary A'zman Mohd Harun, together with department heads and staff of the Ipoh City Council. 

Ipoh City Council hopes that organising programmes such as this will continue to foster the spirit of teamwork, enhance understanding of the role of civil servants, and instill a culture of trust, dedication and professionalism in delivering services to the people.
