VISIT OF THE PENANG CITY COUNCIL DELEGATION TO IPOH CITY COUNCIL

18 June 2025 - Ipoh City Council (MBI) welcomed a delegation from the Penang City Council. The delegation, comprising 13 members, was led by Penang City Council Medical Officer Dr. Bhavytira a/p Prem Anand.

The main purpose of this visit was to conduct a knowledge-sharing session between both parties, particularly regarding the Procedures for Managing Private Overgrown Premises and Abandoned Vacant Land, Public Nuisance and Scrap Items within Private Premises, Bird Control, as well as Dog Management and Licensing.

The briefing session was delivered by Ipoh City Council Health Director M. Raman a/l Maran, and MBI Enforcement and Safety Director Ahmad Zaiyadi Sudin. It was held at the Tekoma Room, Level 8, Ipoh City Council.

Ipoh City Council hopes that this visit will further strengthen the strategic relationship between both parties and serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices in sustainable development management.
