WELCOME CEREMONY FOR THE GOVERNOR OF SARAWAK AND WIFE TO PERAK

IPOH, 8 FEBRUARY 2026 – His Excellency the Governor of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and Her Excellency Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi arrived safely at the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport (LTAS) this morning.

The welcoming ceremony at LTAS was held as a sign of respect and a manifestation of the close relationship between the Perak State Government and Sarawak State Government in strengthening the ties of cooperation.

The arrival of the Governor and his wife was received by Kinta Territorial Chief, Orang Kaya Kaya Panglima Kinta Seri Amar Bangsa Dato’ Ab. Wahab Dato’ Seri Azizul Hassan.

The ceremony was also attended by State Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee Chairman Loh Sze Yee, Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari Hanipah and the Perak State Government leadership.

Ipoh City Council extends its highest appreciation to the Governor and his wife for their gracious visit to Perak.
