COUNCILLORS’ BRIEFING SERIES 2 ON FINANCE AND BASIC INFORMATION

IPOH, 22 APRIL 2026 – The Councillors’ Briefing Series 2 on finance and basic information for Council Members was held today at Dewan Azlan Shah, Level 10, MBI Building. 

The briefing aimed to provide exposure and a clearer understanding to the Councillors on financial aspects, management and basic information related to the Council’s administration. 

At the session, Ipoh City Council (MBI) Treasury Director Mohd Syazlan Mohd Isa Suffian delivered a briefing on finance, including matters involving procedures, management practices and basic understanding in the financial aspects of the organisation. 

Also delivering a briefing was Ipoh City Council (MBI) Management Services Director Ahmad Zaiyadi Sudin, who presented matters related to MBI’s management and administration as a guide and reference for the Councillors. 

It is hoped that the organisation of this briefing will help the Councillors understand more deeply their roles, responsibilities and governance related to carrying out their respective trusts and functions more effectively.
