TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SQUASH ARENA FOR MAINTENANCE WORKS

IPOH, 3 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Ipoh City Council (MBI) wishes to inform that the Squash Arena will be fully closed from 4 September to 11 September 2026 to allow maintenance works to be carried out.  

This temporary closure involves the maintenance of the courts at the Squash Arena during the stated period to ensure that the maintenance works can be carried out more thoroughly, systematically and safely.  

The implementation of these works is important to ensure that the Squash Arena facilities are always in good, safe and comfortable condition for users and the public.  

In this regard, MBI requests the cooperation and understanding of all users to take note of the closure period and to plan their activities accordingly.  

The Squash Arena is expected to reopen once the maintenance works are completed, subject to the current conditions and developments.  

MBI apologises for any inconvenience caused during the closure period and greatly appreciates the cooperation and patience of all parties.
